Kidsactif: children in action!

On this page we do not have to explain that Les Escaliers is completely focused on families with children up to the age of 10. Our terrain, our swimming pool, the food, the decoration ... we try to create a place that is fun within our possibilities , educational and adventurous for children. Do not expect an animation team with us, no impressive climbing castles or an interactive game room. We try to find the fun in simplicity and fantasy. And our terrain and the immediate surroundings are great for that! A few weeks a year we organize - in addition to the existing children's activities - extra activities for children between 5 and 10 years old. Get rid of the cell phones and the tablets, we go into nature! Building huts, making trips, picnicking in the great outdoors and maybe even a campfire!

What can your day look like?

A few times a week we make an adventurous hike with the children in the morning. We have breakfast en route! The parents have plenty of time to enjoy their breakfast together on the terrace. A trip with your own family to a market nearby or one of the nice parks suitable for children (see also 'discover' page) build a cabin during the week on site, we of course regularly take the time to complete the cabin no day without a splash in the pool (the pool opens on 1 May and must therefore be initiated!) during the week we organize 3 joint trips (for those who like!): a family bike ride (rental bikes), a family hike and a visit to 'Parc-en-Ciel', the adventurous climbing forest in our neighborhood baking cookies (1x per week) or cooking class for beginners (1x per week) the children's dinner starts (3 to 4 times a week) at 6 p.m. (see also page 'table d'hôtes') and while the kids present the aprons and set the table, the parents look forward to the table d' hôtes (3 to 4 times a week); the kids are our waiters and waitresses until 9 o'clock; after that there is enough opportunity to put the children in bed and to finish the table d'hôtes evening without children (the baby monitor app works great with our wifi)

Are your kids still too small? Then look at the 'baby toddler' weeks!

Will it be a gite? Or a room?
